Welcome to Auto Body Specialists
Mike Doerfler founded auto Body Specialists in 1970 primarily as an accident repair workshop. Auto Body Specialists has always been known for providing honest and high-quality work for years. Jay Doerfler, focusing on where Mike finished, turned the store’s attention to classic cars, rest-mods, and high-end versions of professional touring. With an even greater sense of detail and a desire to be one of the best in the industry, Jay transformed the company into a well-functioning restaurant store.
At ABS Classic Muscle Car Restorations, we have a simple philosophy. The car must function well and, at the same time, catch the eye. We strive to provide a high-quality car that will last for many years. Never satisfied with being “good enough,” we constantly strive to be better with every job that appears in the store.
From the American classic to the European classic, whether it’s factory original or a high-end custom builds, there’s no project we can’t handle. Every job, be it a full-frame restoration, taken from another store that wasn’t giving you the job they promised, or even a smaller touch-up job, ABS Classic Muscle Car Restoration will bring you dedication and attention to detail. The car deserves it.

The process of repairing the car correctly begins when you return it, says auto body specialist, so make it clear what the store will repair, how much it will take, and how much it will cost. Get everything in writing and ask for labor and parts guarantees. Most importantly, review the documents and check the vehicle when you pick it up to make sure all agreed work has been done. This brings us to the first point …
